1,100 Houses Evacuated In Florida Panhandle As Firefighters Battle Fires

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) — Enormous wildfires within the Florida Panhandle pressured veterans in a nursing residence to evacuate Sunday alongside residents of greater than 1,000 properties in an space nonetheless recovering from a Class 5 hurricane three years in the past.
